On Sunday, April 23, we'll be running our first event of 2011, the Budweiser Shootout. This will be a non-points event that will allow us to break in our new qualifying and race procedures as well as give guys the opportunity to showcase their skills in a fun, competitive race for bragging rights. For this event we'll run two 20 lap heat races with the top 8 from each heat moving on to the Shootout which will be 50 laps. Since this is a non-points event, matchups for the heat races will be made randomly and posted on the forum in the "Race Weekend" section for each series by Friday, April 1st.

Sunday, April 23th, will be the running of our 4th annual Daytona 500. Just like all 2011 Sprint Cup point races, this event will be 50% in length (100 laps). The admins are still determining how we want to set line-ups for the 500. A decision will be made before the game's release. Once it is made, it'll be posted here as well as in your series' "Race Weekend"
